Begin at the beginning

"In the beginning..."

This is the start of something new, hopefully something useful. The goal is to work upon the ideals set in Matthew 25:21...being good stewards with all that God has given us.

The thought is to take "Home Management" to a concise, dedicated and most importantly, intentional view of life in and around the home. I'm sure it will be an ever-changing, evolving list of focus, but will begin with the following:

• Budgeting
• Dave Ramsey view on spending (or not spending)
• "Living like no other." Work to live debt-free.
• Know where your money goes before you spend it
• Build savings and emergency funds
• Basic tax information
• Energy Management
• Evaluating and controlling heating/cooling
• Elimating enery waste
• Updating basic electrical system (i.e. thermostat, light bulbs, etc)
• Storage and organization
• Declutter (if you don't need it sell it, donate it, or trash it)
• A place for everything...
• Home schooling
• Controling costs
• Educating with Godly principles
• Internet resources

In a nutshell, streamling how the home is actually management, with intentional focus and taking control over what can be controlled, and dealing with the uncontrollable.
